Former Newcastle United chairman Freddy Shepherd has made a take-it-or-leave-it £5million offer for Real Mallorca.

The offer is short of the club’s valuation but Shepherd has promised to inject a further £10m to strengthen the squad if the club stay in the Primera Liga this season.

Mallorca are currently 18th in the table and in the relegation zone.
